That looks amazing. Excellent work, Madadman. I really like the lighting in that picture, too.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Have to agree with EQ. There is an open market for bases. There is the posibility to cast it and paint it too....Quote:

Seriously though, how much do you need to start this company? Maybe, you could propose the idea to Todd McFarlane. A new company, within a company.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thanks you guys. Really appreciate the support and kind words. I'm doing everything I can to make this happen. I agree with you MM, there is definitely a market (I have the data to back it up). Problem is investors generally don't know much about the toy biz (they like hi tech stuff) and it's a tough sell. Profit margins aren't that high. It's frustrating but the waiting has given me time to perfect the designs. So it's not a total loss.Quote:

Oh, and as far as talking to Todd, EQ - I've thought about it. But when it comes down to it, what would he need me for?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I agree about the lamp post. The wood parts are made out of... wood. I used balsa wood strips. Textured them and repainted them.Quote:

Been wanting to build a cool alley base for a while but it took some time to find the right parts. After a few months of hobby shop shopping and web searches I pulled together most of the stuff I needed - special thinks to Dajistano for the brick wall from his Niobe base.

Most of the parts are custom made but I found the electric meter through, of all places, a dollhouse supply company. Taking the wall pieces apart and gluing them back together was a pain but it ended up working pretty well.
Here's the base with Spawn i.07...

And Snake Plissken...

I've got a few other figs I want to try out on the base but it's probably gonna be Spawn's permanent home.
Perfect Spawn base.
Nice lighting in the pics too.
Very nicely done! Looks amazing!
Just a tad out of scale... but still looks great!!
